BROTHER THAT IS SOME HEAVY SHIT

TSRBand responds:

Thanks for tuning in!

Just some great stuff all around man, every little detail is appreciated

AlbeGian responds:

Ayyyyy thanks a lot!

This is legit great!, I dig this style a lot!, this is absolutely my territory of music!.

Compositionally it's very interesting and I think you nailed the Nightwish style while infusing it with some of your own, I definitely love your guitar sound as well.

Mixing wise, the only "down" side of the track, the snare is super loud in the mix, and velocity-wise seems like it's always hitting at 127 as well as the bass drum, I'd love to hear more of the orchestra and guitars shine!.

But apart from the mixing, the track compositionally shines very brightly, this is some good stuff!.

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks for checking it out! Yeah. This song is incomplete so any minor details like that have yet to be done. I just can't find anything else that I think would be interesting to fit lol I tried but for now, it's on the long back burner as I got other music being worked on. Thanks for checking it out! \m/

Edit: Went to look into the session and the velocity is around 118-119 so it's not full balls to the wall. I turned them down in the mix, thanks for pointin that out! \m/

Props!, this is some well done stuff!

DanJohansen responds:

AlbeGian responds:

Sum good shet indeed. Thank you Nahu!!

Damn dude, this is actually insane

entropicvoxels responds:

thanks so much! i really like your music too!

It feels a little flat on the dynamic side of things, it would be a lot better if you added a little more variations in the drums and in the velocities of the midi notes, the vocal intro was a really cool idea but it's kind of hard to make up what the words are saying.

The mixing is okay, but is lacking a little bit on the low part of the spectrum and the lead synth was a little bit too loud.

More variation on the drums wouldn't hurt and you did a nice job replicating the instruments used on the original!.

This is how a review's done, not just saying "that's not how you change a key XP"

mutty99 responds:

There is no need to be salty. I was just saying that the key change you did messed up the song, in my opinion at least. Sorry for being too objective; i fixed my review, and with that the discussion is over.
About what you just said above: the pianos were really loud, so i had to increase the volume of the lead, because if i hadn't the mix would have been even worse. For the drums i just did a variation on the introduction, then i decided to not modify them too much throughout the rest of the song.
Thanks for the feedback.
P.S. The vocal intro is only a Youtube thing, so i don't see the point about mentioning it here: i didn't put that intentionally on this website. Always about that, the video contains the dialogue so you can see which are the right words.

Dude this is freaking fantastic replayed it like ten times!, wanna collab someday?

Razorrekker responds:

I would love to!
Admittedly, I am a little caught up in other projects at the moment, so it might be a few months before I'm back in collabing order.

Dude this sounds freaking epic!, reminds me of the intro in killer instinct for SNES!

HighBallers responds:

LOL dude.....you are so right.

Just a dude with a lot of imagination, little music knowledge and a bunch of instruments
